You may have seen Laura playing solo on Record Store Day 2014 or with Saves The Day a few days before. The Brooklyn / New York artist used to be in Bomb the Music Industry! with Jeff Rosenstock and as Laura Stevenson And The Cans has shared stages with the likes of Against Me, Gaslight Anthem, Tim Kasher and Kevin Devine. She and her band play warm indie-folk rock and the last album Cocksure drew in comparisons to Lemonheads, The Replacements, Waxahatchee and even early Weezer!
Support comes from Lightyear man Chas Palmer-Williams who recently released his debut solo album on our label. A lyrical wizz with an eye for the everyday life wrapped in clever songwritting a la Weakerthans meets Frank Turner! Opening up is South London alt. indie-punks Honey Joy! (can no longer make the show)
It's free entry with a ticket stub from the Blink-182 gig. Else, grab a ticket above, or a ticket and a copy of Cocksure
Please note: The Fighting Cocks is an 18+ venue, VALID PHOTO ID will be required
