We are delighted to announce that the incredible Vampire Weekend are coming to New Slang! Yep, one of our favourite bands are back with a new album in January and they will be playing New Slang at The Hippodrome on the 14th. To say we are excited about this is a massive understatement with new stuff like 'Cousins' alongside mega hits like 'A Punk' and 'Oxford Comma'! Amazing.

Support comes from the originally scheduled Good Shoes who were probably the first 'big' band to play NS and those involved that day will remember the sheer chaos as 750 piled in to see the guys play on the tiny stage with a rubbish PA! They return with a new record and we can't wait to see them back at NS! With both bands never off the NS playlist this is the best possible way to welcome us back home at The Hippodrome.

Here's the deal. Vampire Weekend's new album 'Contra' is out on January 11th and we have a superb deal where you can get a ticket for the show and a CD copy of the new album for just £12! The whole reason for the band to fly over and play this show is to help give their new (and frankly brilliant) record a massive push so we hope you will pick up a copy of the album with your ticket for only £12. However, tickets priced at £7 are available seperately and are STRICTLY TWO PER CUSTOMER. There will be huge demand for this show and this is the fairest way to do it, so once again, orders for more than two tickets in total will NOT be processed.

CD + Ticket combos are to be picked up (not posted) from Monday 11th January. The P+P charge on CD + Ticket orders covers your order's processing and card fees. On Thursday 14th January Banquet will be open until late for collections.

New Slang is an 18+ event, please bring valid ID
Customers who order more than two tickets in total will not have their order processed
CD + ticket combos are to be collected from Banquet from 11th January
Tickets for the originally scheduled Good Shoes show are STILL VALID for this show
