WOOZE
Formed in 2017, British/Korean duo WOOZE (named after the Korean word for “space”) emerged from Brixton’s Muddy Yard artist collective. Known for their distinct visuals and genre-blending rock, they fuse Bowie-like theatrics with psychotropic sounds, drawing on influences from Korean music to ABBA and Led Zeppelin. A trio of EPs established WOOZE as one of the UK’s most entertaining and innovative bands, with a unique, borderless sound. They have received plaudits internationally from Spotify, Apple Music, NME, Dork and DIY and have been consistently championed by BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, KEXP, Triple J, Lauren Laverne and Guy Garvey. They’ve toured with Metronomy, headlined shows across the UK and South Korea, and will release their debut ‘The Yellow Album’, in February 2025. The record sees WOOZE at their most exuberant and extravagant widening their musical sphere of influence to include Talking Heads, Justice, Van Halen and Late of the Pier with lyrics that toy with the bizarre and even the outrageous. Amongst all this is a brilliantly ambitious, expectation-defying record, which is quintessentially WOOZE.

Soft Hair
Soft Hair
Soft Hair is acollaboration between are Connan Mockasin and Sam Dust of LA PRIEST and Late Of The Pier. Quirky, weirdo alt-pop! The album’s recording took place over five years amongst the pair’s solo careers and outside lives. After the dispersion of Late Of The Pier, whom Connan supported on tour in 2009 (the first time the two met), Sam travelled in the Far East, Africa, Europe and elsewhere, spending time inventing his own instruments, producing and directing and re-emerging as LA PRIEST in 2015 with debut solo album ‘Inji’. Connan meanwhile released the albums ‘Forever Dolphin Love’ and ‘Caramel’ and toured the world extensively, working with artists such as James Blake, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Vince Staples. The songs on this album were written and recorded in a wide array of locations, using methods that neither Mockasin nor Dust had used previously, developed by the pair from the start of its creation. As a result the record gives the listener a view into an exotic world with a blend of familiar, unfamiliar and unconventionally attractive sounds.
