In celebration (and mourning) of one of our favourite bands playing their last ever show in Kingston we're doubling up today's Advent Calender with their old label to bring you Tubelord and Big Scary Monsters day!

Tubelord are a Kingston-based band that have played for us (and other promoters) more times than we can remember! Over the years we've loved seeing them play and hearing their releases. They truely are one of the most treasured and unique bands Kingston has had to offer. Tonight is their last EVER hometown show for which they're playing an extended set - its going to be ace!

Big Scary Monsters is a brilliant independent UK label run by Mr Kevin Douch, and its one of our favourites. We admire his enthusiasm in a world so dominated by major labels and thats what keeps his label so good! Whether you're after indie, punk, math or folk BSM has it all. This year alone he's put out releases for Tall Ships (which is in our top 12 of 2012), Minus The Bear, Gnarwolves (also a shop favourite), Joyce Manor and Everyone Everywhere all of which (except Minus The Bear) have played in kingston in the last 12 months!

So, we've got some lovely goodies to give away today but remember - only one free gift per person! Greedy boys & girls won't get anything from Santa!
