New Slang is always fun but this week it's extra FUN as we welcome the band of the same name to Kingston, PLUS 2 rooms of live music!
Our friends at Hassle Records are releasing the stunning debut album over here in the UK on 31st May and we are delighted that the band will be playing at New Slang the Thursday before release on the 27th! Fun have been causing quite a stir with recent London shows going down a storm and an album of honest indie pop rock that is essentially, fun! Come and check them out.
If that wasn't enough we have support in abundance with 2 rooms of live music! One of the best young bands in the country right now, The Xcerts will be supporting in the main room along with Luke Leighfield.
In Room 2 we have country punkers Crazy Arm who recently supported our buddy Frank Turner on his huge UK tour and to round it off we have storytelling Welsh indie rockers Tiger Please ! What a night!
After the bands finish regular New Slang DJs will take over in the main room playing dancey indie awesomeness with room 2 playing the likes of:
