Working with producer Paul Epworth the band recorded in locations around the world with the second album due to drop on May 16th.

Named 'Pala' - after the island in Aldous Huxley’s 1962 novel ‘Island’ - the album was recorded over several sessions. Shifting around the country and beyond, Friendly Fires worked in London, St. Albans, Rye in Sussex, Yvetot in France, and New York.
