He's a 23-year-old son of Ugandan immigrants who started off a Radiohead and Nirvana fan, playing in rock bands as a teen before finding work as a session guitarist for Tinie Tempah's producer Labrinth. Now, he stands alone, making a name for himself delivering his rootsy-soul like he means it.

He's been on tour with Banquet Fav Laura Marling and made a good impression on Later... with Jools Holland.
