RESCHEDULED to 20th August. To celebrate the release of their fourth full length album titled All Distortions Are Intentional, the incredible Wrexham crew Neck Deep return to Kingston to play at Pryzm. Massive pop-punk / alt-rock songs that we've been big fans of for a while now, we're super stoked to have them back. With this album Neck Deep wants to continue carving out their own unique space within rock, punk, and alternative music. They have no delusions of "saving rock" or being the biggest rock band out there. They just want to remain Neck Deep and be an even bigger, better Neck Deep than before. They understand their roots are in pop punk, but want to expand on their sound in their own way, taking inspiration from artists like The Beatles and Nirvana who did things their own way and still were able to be massive.Times TBC but we expect doors at 7:00pm with Neck Deep on stage at 8:00pm-Pryzm is all ages for this show - under 14s must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult (18+). PLEASE NOTE: If you choose Collect In Shop as your delivery option your full order, including tickets, will need to be collected from the shop rather than from the venue. Just after the release of their new album, Neck Deep return to Kingston to play acoustic. Off the back of the release of their highly anticipated third album The Peace and The Panic the rapidly rising UK pop-punkers are coming back to Kingston to play an acoustic set at The Hippodrome. It's upbeat pop-punk with all the ingredients. If you're into the likes of All Time Low, State Champs or New Found Glory then get amongst this and see them perform in a stripped-back style, compared to their usually chaotic shows. The 11-track album, produced by Mike Green (Pierce The Veil, Paramore), is a meditation on the constant duality of life and the struggles that come with it. It comes blessed with an acknowledgement that seizing the day and having a laugh with your mates is important, but so is the personal growth that comes with pain and existential crisis. 7:00pm - DOORS 7:15pm - HOMEBOUND 8:00pm - NECK DEEP 9:00pm - CURFEW CD/ticket for £10, LP ticket for £18 or tickets will be available separately here. Signing Session / L.S. Dunes
Friday 31st January
at Banquet Records, 5:00pm
If you've already ordered Violet from us, you can upgrade to attend the signing. One upgrade per album. To celebrate the release of the new album 'Violet', L.S Dunes visit Banquet Records for a signing session ahead of their show at The Fighting Cocks. The earliest version of L.S. Dunes—the one that introduced themselves to the world at Chicago’s Riot Fest in 2022 and went on to release their blissfully chaotic debut, Past Lives, later that year—was birthed in turbulence. There was a pandemic. There were time and family constraints. There were members away on tour with one of their many other bands: Frank Iero’s My Chemical Romance, Anthony Green’s Saosin and Circa Survive, Travis Stever’s Coheed and Cambria, and Tim Payne and Tucker Rule’s Thursday, among them. But somehow, they managed to make it work, touring the globe for a growing and passionate fanbase and finding their footing as a distinct and singular band of their own design along the way. Now, with the release of their second full-length album, Violet—once again helmed by Grammy-nominated producer Will Yip—L.S. Dunes live up to the promise set by their debut, and in many ways, open up an opportunity to rediscover the band in a different light: Where Past Lives takes its oxygen from the thrill of frenzy and impulsiveness, Violet breathes deeper with a more open and expansive palette. Whether it lives in the confident and steady pulse of a song like “Machines,” in the rousing lyrical empowerment of “Paper Tigers,” or in the way that “Forgiveness” forges itself as an anthem for love and unconditional acceptance in the face of our personal failures, Violet is a body of work that secures multiple outcomes: There is hindsight. There is hope. There is, in fact, magic.-5:00pm start with all ages welcome.Albums will be for collection at the signing. Admission will be via order number, please bring yours to the shop.

Signing Session / WUNDERHORSE
Thursday 5th September
at Banquet Records, 6:00pm
To celebrate the release of the new album 'Midas', Wunderhorse visit Kingston for a signing session. With rugged hooks, unfltered noise, and ferce melodic sensitivity, Midas rips up the script of traditional second albums and establishes the band as an endlessly addictive and rousing generational talent. In late 2022, the release of their debut album Cub saw singles 'Purple' and 'Leader of the Pack' dominate radio airwaves. Landmark performances flling Glastonbury's Woodsies Tent (FKA John Peel Stage) and selling out London's Kentish Town Forum months in advance followed tours with Pixies and Fontaines D.C. and stadium appearances with Sam Fender, signalling the band's arrival as one of the most prominent and exciting new guitar acts in the UK.With Grammy Award- winning producer Craig Silvey (The Rolling Stones, The National, Florence + The Machine) on board for their sophomore record, the band looked to do something different. Their goal - in the very same studio that Nirvana put In Utero to tape and PJ Harvey recorded the Mercury Prize-nominated Rid of Me - was to push themselves outside of their comfort zones."There's absolutely no faking on this record," ends Slater, "it's not supposed to be perfect; it's supposed to be a snapshot, even if it is a bit of an ugly portrait. That's how it was then, and that's how you're gonna see it." And it sounds like you're right there in the room with them.-6:00pm start with all ages welcome.Albums will be for collection at the signing. Signing Session / Lucy Rose
Friday 19th April
at Banquet Records, 1:00pm
To celebrate the release of the new album 'This Ain't The Way You Go Out', Lucy Rose returns to Kingston for a signing session.British musician Lucy Rose released a fourth album, No Words Left, back in 2019. It garnered the strongest critical acclaim of her career and culminated in a sell-out show at London’s Barbican theatre. It was a record that ruminated in a sort of hushed reverence, emotionally charged and deftly delivered.Lucy had planned to spend some well-earned time at home in the record’s aftermath, having toured relentlessly since her late teens. She’d balanced that precariously spinning plate by forming her own record label too, Real Kind Records, putting out new records by artists she admired and thought deserved her due care and attention. With both plates spinning, she managed to catch them just before the pandemic ensured her plan for some rest and recouperation became an enforced reality. She welcomed her first child, Otis, in the summer of 2021. All was well until she was diagnosed with a rare form of pregnancy induced osteoporosis. With a life being lived upside down, and only now without the indignity of excruciating pain, making music wasn’t seeded top of Lucy’s priority list. Any fleeting thought of writing a new record, or even sitting down with a guitar or at a piano, took a back seat to building up the strength to walk and care for Otis. As her confidence started to rebuild, so did her usual inhibitions in the making of music. Inspired by a trip to America with friend and rapper Logic, she later worked with renowned producer Kwes to finish the record. This Ain’t The Way You Go Out is an album constructed from the ashes of despair, nurturing the tiniest of green shoots and giving life to something that had looked otherwise spent. It’s a new era for Lucy, and an era in its purest, truest sense. An artist re-awakening herself to the power of music, and having a lot of fun in the process of its discovery and delivery.-1:00pm start with all ages welcome. All albums will be for collection from the shop.

Albums for collection at the signing. Please bring your order number with you to the shop.To celebrate the release of their new album titled 'the classic symptoms of a broken spirit', Architects return to Kingston for a signing session.Finding yourself with a UK Number One album and selling out arenas is enough for someto repeat a winning formula. Architects however, are forever moving forward. "It was definitely validating and felt really cool for like a day," recalls drummer, producer and songwriter Dan Searle of hitting the top spot with For Those That Wish To Exist."For a lot of the bucket list things you reach in any career, there's a momentary gratification then you're like, 'What next?' You just move on. By the time the album came out, my head was already in the mindset of 'broken spirit'. That was where I was at."Searle notes how it was their albums Lost Forever/Lost Together, All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us, and Holy Hell that really "cemented what the band was about" and "took them to a new level" as a rock powerhouse and leaders of the UK's metalcore scene – making it all the more "daunting" to reinvent themselves on the records that would follow." I wanted to make this album with a different aesthetic. We were enjoying working with the synths and doing stuff that we hadn't done before."-6:00pm start with all ages welcome.
