Steve Earle has covered two songs made famous by Jerry Jeff Walker. “Up Against The Wall Redneck Mother” was written by Ray Wylie Hubbard and ap- peared on Jerry Jeff Walker’s album Viva Terlingua.

‘Night Rider’s Lament’ was written by Michael Burton and made famous by Jerry Jeff Walker on the album, Ridin’ High. These two songs were recorded by Steve Earle in Nashville, TN.
