Just after the release of her hugely anticipated debut album, The Japanese House plays an acoustic set in the shop.
Signed to Dirty Hit and having already supported The 1975 on a massive UK tour, Amber Bain / The Japanese House is unveiling her hugely anticipated debut album, Good At Falling. A swirling and spellbinding mix of ambient electro-pop with extremely sonically pleasing production. We're big fans and super excited for this record + in-store. Any fan of Bon Iver, The 1975 or Imogen Heap should check this out.
“I’m more of a behind-the-scenes songwriter and producer, but I’ve learnt how to become [a performer]... I’m glad I waited this long because I don’t think I’d have been able to make the same album two years ago. I think it’s important to not rush things and find exactly what kind of music you want to make.”
In-store Grade B, with a 8:00pm start. All ages welcome.
