Ivy Tripp is then latest album from Waxahatchee, formerly of P.S. Eliot and Bad Banana, who was awesome when she played in the shop! 

Ivy Tripp drifts confidently from its predecessor and displays a more and powerful recognition of where Crutchfield currently finds herself. The previous themes of loss of youth and coming of age have been replaced with self control and sheer honesty; “My life has changed a lot in the last two years, and it’s been hard for me to process my feelings other than by writing songs,” says Crutchfield. “I think a running theme [of Ivy Tripp] is steadying yourself on shaky ground and reminding yourself that you have control in situations that seem overwhelming."
